Book Review ~ Wicked Lovely

Book: Wicked Lovely
Author: Melissa Marr
Rating: 3
Cover: 5

Rule 3: Never stare at invisible fairies. Aislinn has always seen faeries. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in the mortal world.

Rule 2: Never speak to invisible faeries. One of them, a beautiful faery boy named Keenan, is trying to talk to her, asking questions. Aislinn is afraid to answer.

Rule 1: Don’t ever attract their attention. Now it’s too late. Keenan is the Summer King and is determined that Aislinn will become the Summer Queen at any cost. Without her, summer itself will perish.

Wicked lovely is extremely well written and imagined. The storyline is very well thought out and is extremely well done. An issue I had with this book was that it was very confusing to get your head around the Fae “politics”. Overall it was a good read and I recommend if you are into Fae books but try reading other Fae books before this, so you have a clearer understanding of what is happening in the beginning.
