Max has to protect Jane, Jane wants to be normal, Wes wants Jane to love him, and Emily just wants the voices to stop... But their fate just wants them dead.

I looked forward to reading this book as soon as I saw it. The book is written in 5 different perspectives the characters these being Jane, Max, Wes, Emily, Sarah. When I first started reading it I found it some what childish and wasn't into it much at all. It was an "easy read" but because of the constant change of perspective it was hard to grasp a proper feel for the characters. It progressed nicely and I began to be more intrigued! If you are after a book that has you on the edge of your seat, this is not the book for you as it was very predictable and at times boring.

 

Despite all that the book was actually pretty good, I love reading about angels so that was a bonus and made the book a lot more interesting. I really loved Emily and Wes and I can safely they were my favourite characters! Emily is her own person who is simply read wrong by others and I enjoyed her relationship with Wes. Wes was also a great character although at times I became frustrated with his infatuation with Jane (mainly because I do not like her all to much, despite her huge roll in the book.)

This was a pretty good book, and I would love to read the next one (book of revenge).
